Area Sales Manager – Delta Cluster

Infarmsys Technologies is an agri-tech company building data-driven diagnostic and advisory solutions for agriculture. Our flagship platform, Soil Spectra, enables on-ground soil testing and actionable advisory in 2 minutes, helping farmers make better input decisions while enabling dealers and FPOs to improve engagement and sales.
We are scaling Soil Spectra across the delta region and are looking for a high-ownership Area Sales Manager to drive on-ground execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end rollout of Soil Spectra across Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai & Pudukottai
- Identify, qualify and onboard high-quality input dealers, FPOs and rural entrepreneurs
- Drive conversions and close onboarding with payment commitment
- Ensure strong activation: 50+ tests within 30 days for every onboarded operator
- Personally support initial field execution (first tests, farmer interactions, demos)
- Drive sustained usage: 30+ tests per month per active dealer
- Integrate soil testing into dealer workflow to improve advisory and input sales
- Plan and execute farmer camps, demos, and local engagement activities
- Capture and manage pipeline via Notion trackers (qualification + activation)
- Maintain high field intensity with regular dealer visits across the cluster
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to drive execution and share field insights
- Take complete ownership of outcomes: dealer quality, activation, usage and cluster growth
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5+ years on-ground sales experience (agri / rural preferred)
- High ownership and execution mindset (no hand-holding)
- Ability to influence dealers, engage farmers, and close deals
- Comfortable with a field-heavy role and building from scratch
This role is about building the Soil Spectra network from the ground up in the delta cluster.
